Thi Thi is only a couple of blocks from the C-Train. Awesome Vietnamese subs.

There is an Arby's just north west of the train station (it's on 12th ave). That's usually where I go when I need my fill of "roast beef" and "cheese".

So many food courts close to the train line. TD Square, Lancaster, Bankers Hall.

I may be in the minority when I say this... but I would not recommend FC for food.
May be a fun spot on gameday... but it is overpriced and the food is not really that great.
I would suggest the unicorn for pub food...
Also +1 for Thai Tai as well.

Kim Anh across the street from Thai Tai. Same cuisine, but way better in my opinion

Hands down, Falaffel King on 8th Ave two doors down from Flames Central.
Thinking about it makes me regret eating what I just did for lunch.

Vietnam Restaurant, on 12th Ave between 1st Street SE and Macleod Trail. Right near the Arby's mentioned above.
Soon there'll be a Sunterra Market in that area!

Just to clear this up, I'm not talking about Thai Tai on 17th. That place sucks. I'm talking about Thi Thi on 8th.

Great, the smell of fresh herbs and old bums together at last.

Didn't they shut that place down? Used to be on 1st Street between 8th and 9th ave and one day we went there at lunch and it was all boarded up.

No, they moved it to the location JD is talking about - right on 8th Ave next to FC.

Tell me about it - I work a block away and it's always a dodgy area, especially in the evenings. Some Mondays I come in and have to sidestep hobo clothing by the back entrance.
