i was talking to an avid skiier the other day and he mentioned that Fortress has been sold, i havent heard this but that would be fantastic news, the possibility it could reopen at some point in the near future. always loved that hill and there is no reason that hill shouldnt be open...

I really wish for the day that Fortress would re-open. I loved the hill, so many good times there
