The truth is still out there, and may be coming back to the big screen.

Mulder speaks

bah - was a huge fan from the first episode, it was on a 5-year plan.

that plan was shredded after the 5 years were up to make even more money, and the show really suffered for it.

that being said i'll probably pony up and see the movie...

Seen every episode and the movie each at least two or three times.

HUGE fan. But I agree the second half of the show's run was very lacking. And the episodes without Mulder? Fugghedaboutit.

Let it die already.

Watching the last three years was like having my teeth pulled without novacaine. Painful

Ok I have to be one of the biggest X-files nerds out there (I own all 9 episodes) but the show is done.

(I actually think the supersoldier series was pretty good, but yeah there were some pretty bad ones in there.)

Agreed. The first five seasons were awesome and the movie rocked. I would even say there sixth season was pretty good (especially earlier on)

But seven eight and nine? Oh my dear god. Every once in a while you'd get a glimmer of hope, just so they could tear ya back down again.

for chris carter vehicles both "millenium" (well the first 2 seasons) and the short-lived "harsh realm" were great shows.

this guy doing anything else on tv?

Conspiracy theories are soooo 90's. A time after the cold war, when America was prospering and they had to look to themselves, their institutions, and even science fiction for an enemy. Who cares about alien abductions now when you've got terrorists to blow you up before you even get sucked into the mothership?
