I am planning my 6th annual beer olympics in a couple weeks, and was hoping to add on a Das Boot beer chugging compitition, ala Beer fest.

Only one problem...I don't have DAS BOOT.

Does anyone know a place in the city I can get a couple glasses in the shape of a boot?

I have a regulation "Beer fest" sized Das Boot, and all I have to say is good luck buddy. It's like chugging seriously 1.5 - 2 litres of beer. Even if you're one of the rare people who has enough volume in your stomach to allow you enough capacity to chug that much liquid you still have the world's biggest gas attack to deal with also.

I guess the joke is lost on me since I am so enamoured of the film that Das Boot will always mean "The Boat" to me so the pun doesn't work.

It's sort of like if you watch one of those funny Youtube videos in another language but with subtitles replaced, it isn't funny anymore if you understand the original language since your brain overrides it.
