Need Suggestions Fast :)
Hey, So my Grad Day is on June 4th. Our Banquet is supposed to start at 6PM and most likely people will start leavin for Aftergrad parties at around 7:45.
I have been put on the responsibility of over 30 friends (good enough to put pressure on me) and I need to decide what we do.
First of all, we are not all eighteen and therefore wanna have a decent Grad and all of us can have some good fun.
Heres the plan:
We forsure on going to a restaurant which has a bar (for those who can drink can go nutz if they want). We are planning on doing all this around NW and most likely around the areas of Market Mall and Such. First of all, I am not sure but is there restaurants where you don't have to eat a full meal but can go hang-out and possibly have life soft drinks and something small? (I am not talking McDonalds)
Also, before we go to a restaurant, what should we do for an hour? I am thinking of going to a nice place for pictures and stuff and originally we were thinking of laser-tag (but thats only in SW and SE).
Does anyone know of a good restaurant where we can book out tables and go there to chill for a while? (Cause not all of us can go to a bar/club).
Also, Is there any ideas for where we can go for an hour? Also keep in mind, I am looking for a restaurant close to this area as its going to be hard for transportation.
Thanks For Your Help!
Since we would just be at a place where we have just eaten

Yeah, but then the HAWC1 police helicopter would fly overhead and break up the party.

this is pretty much what we had. the person running the after party had some rent-a-cops there to check names of everyone and make sure nobody drove home drunk. it was a pretty good deal

have you guys not considered going to real aftergrad parties?
We bought tickets for Sambucca's (I think) and even though that place is kind of a dive it was a great time. They have areas with and without alcohol but minors can't drink.
I'm sure someone in your grad class will be selling tickets around school.

Rent a bus and drive out to a field...
Then subsequently rob them all blind and then see if they ever do this to you again.

Any restaurant like Earl's or Moxie's or the like will allow you to sit and stay a while, your friends can drink etc.

How many people do you know graduate college before they're 18? Let alone 30 people doing it? LOL
For my grad, I ended up bringing an older date. I wasn't 18 yet, so I couldn't legally go out drinking either. Obviously, she got bored, so she brought me back to her place instead, and ... well ...

You could always go up to park between Bowness and Varsity for pictures. I'm not sure what it's called, but it's the one near 32nd and Home road that overlooks the river valley. You get a nice view from there and it should be a good place to take pictures.
After that, you could head over to Moxies or Milestones which are both in Market mall. You don't have to order full meals, and those over 18 can drink. And the it's all within walking distance.
