This is really sad, the FCC needs to go.

The latest example of TV network self-censorship because of FCC concerns came a few weeks ago during a rerun of the "Family Guy" cartoon. Fox blurred out a character's naked butt, even though the image was seen five years ago when the episode originally aired.

I mean, honestly... a cartoon ass is too much for American television? Even though 5 years ago it was okay?

I can't imagine what will happen when Family Guy comes back on the air.

yup things are getting out of hand...yet...

I was watching a cartoon with my youngest last week...the name of the show escapes me right now...anyways it was about a family...and the men were sitting around talking to their wives using the "endearing" term of Bitch.

I emailed Family Channel and suggested that they pull their collective heads out of their arses and either put the show on late at night when kids are in bed...OR cancel the show. Children do NOT need to see men calling women Bitches in any way or fashion.

I was totally disgusted.

There ARE many cartoons that sit right on the border of this stupidity right now.

Things are getting out of hand for sure. It's a cartoon for crying out loud. How many times have we seen Homer, Bart and Barney's naked butt on the Simpsons? I guess their gonna get blurred out too from now on.

Why are they allowed to show a baby's butt in commercials?
