Caps Win a big game to move one point up on number 9 Carolina and 4 pts up on number 10 Boston.

Rod Brind A mour continued his hot streak with 2 points and Martin Brodeur recovered after a shaky start to help the Caps get the W.

Wow 9 goals for 2 games in a row. I guess we'll ride this streak as long as it goes.

Weiss had a CON rating of 98 so I put him on my third line and let him play on the 2nd unit of the PP trying to keep his ice time down hoping he'll recover. He goes out and scores 2 goals and 5 assists for 7 points and plays 27 minutes.

Don't try to figure out the SIM it's more confusing than a woman.

Very nice! Huet was absolutly outstanding. Great comeback by the Avs and GM Swayze11 is now 3-0 as a GM.

Can the Oilers please stop winning!

1- 0 win for the Senators.

Bell with the only goal. kind of a boring game lol. 30 shots by the Senators 25 by the Bruins.

Fleury gets the Shut out.

1-0? Brutal. I really needed to win this game to get even closer to that last spot. The Caps win hurts too. I'm now 4 points back with a game and hand and the Hurricanes in the 9th spot too.

Blues score 5 in a row, then the Canadiens attempt a comeback but too little too late. Getzlaf has been on a bit of a tear lately potting 2g and 1a, seems to gel with Nash decently.

Goaltending continues to struggle in Montreal, we'll have to figure something out for next game.

You're up against the Sharks, probably the best team in the league so don't feel too bad.

Well we got a win but that Jerk Doan takes out Chara with a high stick. Now he is DD.
One game tomorrow then one off so hopefully he is not hurt to bad.

Sorry Syl, but the Flyers get beat up like this everyday right now it seems.

Flames get a tie for the 2nd straight game. Cam Ward is back under 100%.

Nice win over the newly GM'd Coyotes. Hossa and Havlat continue their goal scoring roll and Crosby picks up another 3 points. Backup Dwayne Roloson picks up his first victory as a Shark.

On a slightly worrisome note, both Gagne and Michalek, in their last games as Sharks, post a goal and assist each in an attempt to send GM Ryan a message that he may have made the wrong moves. We'll see how the new players react to their new team in a couple days as we take on Frolov's old team and Michalek's new team, the Hawks.

Just two wins in the last 13 games. I'm in some serious trouble here. Once sitting very comfortably in 4th place I'm now just 3 points out of a playoff spot.

Predators lose to the Jackets, but get a little healthier in the process. Shane Doan plays his last game here, scores once and then gets ejected....thanks for the 1/2 game!

Next up the Calgary Flames.

This team is famous for letting points against lower teams slip so I am not surprised at all. Hopefully we can keep rolling and move up the standings as our injuries keep piling up.
