Okay lets start off in the AFC where the 15-1 Steelers host the 14-2 Pats
This looks to be a great game featuring two brilliant coaches and two very tough football teams. Both teams defences were brilliant last week with the Steelers allowing only a field goal to the Jets, and the Pats doing the same against the high octane Colts. Both teams were able to run the ball effectively last week, but the key difference is that Tom Brady was much better than Roethlisberger at the QB position. The Steelers special teams also surrendered a return TD to the Jets as well. I think this is going to be a close hard fought game between two teams that were in this positon 3 seasons ago. Again I think the Pats will prevail in a close game, with Brady's big game experience being the difference, but it's going to be a helluva a fight. Pats 10-7
Over to the NFC where the 11-5 Falcons go into Philly to face the 13-3 Eagles. As we're all aware this is the 4th straight year that the Eagles are in the NFC Championship, and are hosting it for the third consecutive year. Recently the Falcons forked over enough dough to make Mike Vick the highest paid contract in football. Why? Because the Falcons feel Micheal Vick is the man that can win them games like this. This game features two teams with mobile quarterbacks and good defences. I think this will be a reasonably close and good game. Two years ago Michael Vick was shelled in Philly in the playoffs. This time he doesn't get shelled, but that doesn't mean he wins. The Eagles finally come through with a 24-21 win to go to the big dance.

Hate NE will never chose them. Seems to me to be like the NE/Indy game last week everyone is counting out the Steelers.
Philly 27 ATL 13
Vick is way too inconsistent to beat a really good Philly defense.

NE 35-20 - Pits was lucky last week.
As much as I'd prefer ATL (although I'll take either NFC team over NE in the Superbowl), I think the wearther reduces Vicks' effectiveness.

Patriots. For Pitt, Ward scores on playaction pass from just outside the red zone and Bettis on a screen (his will come in the third), but it's not enough as Dillon runs for over 100 yards and has two td's, one on the ground, one in the air. Vinatieri wins the game on a field goal in (ironically) 13 inches of snow. 20-17.
Eagles. Vick with two running td's for ATL, Dunn is invisible. ATL will also have a TD overturned by video review, a drive on which they will then get no points on. McNabb breaks one (very) early for a huge run of at least 60 yards capped by a Brian Westbrook td. Akers is 1/2. McNabb to Pinkston early in the fourth for what proves to be the game winning TD. 17-14.

I guarntee that won't happen.
Pats vs. Steelers
Pats win 19 to 14, Roethlisberger gets exploited early and never gets his rhythm, he might even get benched.
Falcons vs. Eagles
Falcons with with the running game again, the Falcons secondary shuts down Mitchell and Westbrook is the only glimmer. Falcons 28, Eagles 21

35-17 ATL
The biggest thing could be in my mind is Allan Rossum this guy can just go when he gets the ball. Also Jim Mora JR is a great coach and in cold weather I like the running game. ATL's D is so fast and will be able to shut down Westbrook somewhat, if they do, it's time for the annual WR flop in Philly.

The Patriots are going to win. I though that the Colts were the only team that could beat them if they are at there best. Today's game should relatively low scoring with the number one rush defense in the league, against the Patriots formidable defense

Well if you still have time, go out and bet on the Steelers. I've been .500 all playoffs, and I predicted the Eagles to win.....
