Ahhh, the Molson Canadian question. I think there are some determining factors here for me. Is the booty call a real hot chick? How long have you been trying to get in the persons pants? Could you nail her during the intermission and then boot her out the door? I have never had the chance to refuse a booty call during the post season yet, anyone else?

Pretty sure nothing you do is going to have an effect on the outcome of a hockey game, and this is a pretty drastic measure in the name of superstition.

Too many variables to say concretely one way or the other.

First, how desperate am I? If it's been a while there's probably only a few games I might turn it down for, like game 7s later on in the playoffs or games in which the cup could be won by the Flames. If it's been a REALLY long time ... well, you know ... we could lose .... and then turning her down would sure seem stupid. (And even if we won there's always highlights or TiVo.) But if I'm not having too much trouble getting laid, the hockey game shoots up in the interest department.

So obviously if the g/f or wife calls and says "blow off the game and I'll blow you off" there's a decent chance i'll tell her to take a hike.

And of course, being ridiculously hot improves her chances.

Finally, if she offers to do it "The Canadian Way", I'll pick the booty call every time.

Haha, yeah, there are too many variables in the decision to say for sure one way or another. But I will say I HAVE given up sex for a hockey game before, and I think that's what they mean. That you are putting it off to watch the game or something.

Actually the reason I like that commercial is because I've done pretty much everything they mention in it.

Well, you concentrate on the girl, obviously. But this does have the added advantage of making her feel good when you yell "YES! YES!" even though you are really celebrating the fact that Iggy just scored.

I find the commercial hilarious. I thought it guys who requested booty calls. What self respecting female has to desperately bang on some guy's door to get sex? I guess the guy must be really something, or my "self respecting" comment answers my own question!

I don't think that ever happens unless the person is piss drunk out of their mind. You do know that the commercial was a bit of an exaggeration, in reality she'd most likely call and see what you're doing and if you wanted to "hang out".
