LF: Framer...Drywaller...Plumber

i have an up down duplex, with laundry in the basement, but not on the main floor. i want to put the laundry in the bedroom 3 closet, but accessed off the hallway, not the bedroom. so i need to have a new doorway framed off the hallway and i need the back wall of the closet to be pushed back about 12" and to have the existing closet door opening closed off. i would prefer the job be drywalled, taped, mudded and sanded as well. if there is anybody with experience out there that is looking for a side job, maybe this is it. i do not want to sacrifice quality on this job, as it will become a rental unit. i also need to have this complete in less than 8 weeks. i currently have an electrical trade lined up, and am also looking for a plumber to run the water lines/drainage and the exhaust.

Damn. My buddy just took a new job this week and this was exactly the thing he was looking for, but because nothing was coming up, took another opportunity. Very experienced carpenter who has a lot of experience with everything you mentioned except for the plumbing aspect.

i really dont' think it's a big job. i don't have the time to do it myself, especially not having much experience. i'm sure it could be done over a weekend. maybe run it past him just to see if it could work?

He was more looking for a temporary job (4-12 wks) so he could reestablish himself here in town since moving back from Europe and kick start his company again. Sorry, I read 'completed in less than 8 weeks' and assumed it would take a while. But he's not one to pass on jobs. I'll ask him and pass on his info if he's interested.

And we are talking Calgary, correct?
