The guy who lives below me...
Has been listening to Jann Adren's "Insensitive" over and over again for 45 minutes. And the silence between plays varies every time, so he's not asleep.
Now, I have no problem with loud music and he and I alternately put up with noise now and then.
But it's "Insensitive"!
What is protocol here? Do I knock on the door and make sure he's ok? What if he's sitting there in his underwear, drunk and crying? I don't know they guy THAT well.
Crap. Clearly this was meant for the off topic forum. Sorry Mods. Unless the guy is Ecklund?

Crank up some Stone's ("can't get no satisfaction") and turn your speakers to the floor.

I agree, the Flames came out sluggish but really picked it up in the end and got the W...What, wait!

Still going. I swear I'm not making this up.
I just keep thinking of Micheal listening to the free clip of that James Blunt song.
Satisfaction would be a good counter-song but my other roommate is sleeping. Plus I'm really curious to see how long this can go on. His ears must be bleeding by now. He must be in some kind of emotional pain to purposely subject himself to THAT song over and over and over.

You should put on 'Everybody Hurts'.
Then maybe later put on 'Time after Time'. You might make yourself a friend.

That sucks.
During the summer, I got woken up almost every Saturday and Sunday afternoon by my upstairs neighbour playing Kid Rock's "All Summer Long" over and over and over and over again. It's a really weird song to hear through the walls because you're not sure if it's Werewolves of London or Sweet Home Alabama, then you figure out that it's neither of them, yet both of them at the same time.
I guess it's a little better than Insensitive. Maybe the dude broke up with Jann Arden. How bad would that suck? Dating Jann Arden, I mean.

Hey getbak, do you live in Killarney by any chance? If so, I know that guy!
For what it's worth, Jann continued being played until just after 2am at which point a new darker song (unknown but very heavy) was repeated until just recently.
What a strange night. I hate afternoon games.

At first I cracked up laughing when I read this. Then I started thinking about how 'creepy' and annoying it would be!! Why do some people like to make themselves suffer anyway? It's a weird way to get through a bad moment. But picturing the guy sitting there replaying it is kind of funny.

My brother, known as TheCommodoreAfro on here, once told me of another tenant in his building playing Danger Zone ad naseum. Must've been a big Top Gun fan...

Clearly he's being insensitive.
Isn't it ironic?

At a backpackers in Western Australia I was pretty hungover and saw a jukebox. For whatever reason the jukebox was 5 plays for a buck.
I dropped several dollars in and alternated between Achy Breaky Heart and Raspberry Beret, not knowing that the jukebox was tuned in to every speaker in the entire backpackers, including the kitchen, communal lounge, patio, reception and hallways.
They tried unplugging the machine despite my protests and much to my surprise, that particular machine remembers its programs. After hour two, they unplugged the machine until the next day when they plugged it back in when the hostel was empty during the day.
I found the whole thing pretty funny.

Was that before or after Snotboy? If it was before I no longer feel sorry for you.
