Our first tie of the year; Colaiacovo had a 3pt night, his best in a Habs uniform. We'll take the tie, but our team got a little beat up from the game. Bryzgalov is Day-to-Day after getting high-sticked from Iginla, Koivu can't seem to recover from is 98 CD even giving him minimal 3rd line time, Getzlaf is a 97 after getting injured, and 3 of our 6 d-men are now less than 100%.

Should be interesting to see how I figure out this mess.

The Predators come away with a tie of the lowly Flames. We were hoping for more, but we'll take the point. The performance of Doan was great again as he scored twice in the 3-3 draw. Patrick Lalime got another start, and played as well as his counterpart...normally that is good, but tonight that was Dan Cloutier!

Good win by the blues. We let the Stars get close and then yank the carpet out from under them with less then 2 minutes left in the game. Handzus scores his 2nd of the game and the blues win 3-2.

Up next are the Jackets who are currently 3 points behind us in the standings. Both teams look to be beat up and the Blues plan to scratch 3 regulars in order for them to rest up.

Enough with the injuries. Another game another loss and another injury.
Hopefully we can get a couple days off to rest but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Leafs beat Debbies 5-2.

Shots were pretty even in this one but Lundqvist played a lot better than his counterpart Budaj. The Leafs put in 2 PP goals in the first period and never looked back.

Selanne had 2 points after returning from his 5 game suspension. Gaustad led all scorers with 3 points.

Harding to get a start tomorrow against Philly. He's been a great backup this year, hopefully he's still sharp after not playing for a while.

Close, but a loss to the Blues on a late powerplay goal after coming back from down 2-0. Not sure if I'll go with Legace again tomorrow against Atlanta.

Congratulations to Brunnstrom for getting his first CPHL goal. The first of hopefully many more.

Not much to report on Hecht and Afinogenov right now. I'll probably be calling some more teams tonight with offers.

Wild are suddenly in a bit of a slump - time to juggle the lines.

Caps win one- lose one - win one - lose one....

No playoffs if the team keeps this up

Flames earn a tie vs the Preds. Cloutier started his 3rd straight game as we wait for Cam Ward to get back to 100%. Bert had a point in what turns out to be his final game as a Flame, more details to follow.

Bit of a roll with the teams 5th win in a row. Again its backup goalie Andrew Raycroft getting the win. Turco just cant seem to be able to play any more than two games in a row before needing a night off. Another game tomorrow to look forward to.

Bit of a surprise as the Isles knock off the Senators 6-2... Martin with an assist in his first game as an Islander.
