Another Westjet sale - "Over" 50% off...

This isn't advertised on the Westjet ad banners on CP, so I thought I'd pass it along...

Not sure about the other cities, but the prices for Calgary to BC ($39 to Abbotsford, $49 to Kelowna/Kamloops, $59 to Vancouver/Victoria) are pretty good if T/W/R works for you.

We ended up booking a Saturday to Tuesday trip to Abbotsford for the Family Day long weekend (the Saturday flight was $79) -- it's just a 2-hour drive across the border to Seattle

P.S. It's a three day sale -- I think tomorrow is the last day...

I booked a round trip ticket to Victoria that came to around $230 bucks with all the taxes. Of course, I already want to change the time of my flight which will add another $50 bucks onto that.... figures!

If you change your flight the same day you book (or cancel the flight and take Westjet credit instead of a refund), there is no change/cancellation fee...

And in case anybody is reading this Friday and is saying "crap- I missed it"- Westjet has been running a lot of 40-50% off deals since mid December.

Is it me or does it seem Wesjet is doing these sales every couple weeks now. Doesn't even seem like a "sale" anymore to me.

I agree that the Westjet "sales" are happening more frequently these days (i.e. the 40% and 50% off sales), especially with the slowdown in the economy. However, these rates are a lot lower than what Westjet normally offers, sale or otherwise. Not crazy like the $10 or $20 flights to Vancouver that they've sometimes done in the past, but still decent if you were already looking to book a flight.

As long as prices are lower than when I last check, it's fine by me
