Default American porn industry to ask congress for bailout!

This goes in the WTF catagory.

I don't see them getting a cent.

Why not?

So the next deficit is going to be 7% of the total nations GDP, and that's if it doesn't go any higher.

When you look at the medicare gap and the social security gap it gets even scarier.

Some economists are already using the big B word...

What's happens when the remaining superpower can't pay it's bills?

I'll bet they're a more viable business than either Ford or GM. It's obviously being done to prove a point, and they have one.

Larry Flint is not opposed to taking on the government for a principle and he has a good one here.

If you're going to bail out poor business practices, why not help those that make money.

The problem with Larry is that there is a whole other set of non-financial problems that his industry deals with. The problem Larry is going to run into is that it wouldn't surprise me if the response to this is a request that his "employees" form a union or trade association to deal with health issues, substance abuse issues and retirement plans.

If I was Joe Francis I would keep my mouth shut. I have heard a few interviews of him from jail on the Howard Stern show. He pissed off a lot of important people and was basically just put in jail to prove a point. Why rock the boat even if you are kidding?

Heard it on the radio this morning. Pretty funny, somewhat witty even.
