Default SOLD-Brand New KitchenAid "ARTISAN" Stand Mixer $270

It was brought to my attention that I missed the Artisan descriptor whcih is the difference between a $400 mixer and a $200 mixer. It is still in the box.

Got one and we already had one....Part of a deal for buying a KitchenAid Kitchen. If you have a wife who likes to bake, or maybe it's not the wife, this is the tool to buy.

$270.00 (Listed at $369.99 at London Drugs)

What color is this one? Sadly, it does make a difference.

They call it Onyx Black, which as far as I can tell, means it's black

( I am picking on those who decided to call it Onyx Black instead of just black)

My wife loves it though... FYI

Is it the Artisan line ? or the professional line?

Depends on motor strength IIRC

I just bought my g/f one of these in "Empire Red" for Xmas from hbc.com for $339.99 (reg 449.99) If yours was red I would have definately bought it. I can't believe how much she wanted one of these. I don't know much about them, but apparently I am not alone in that.

At least there are now 2 of us who realize there are different levels and prices if these things.

Like Stang above I am now reaping the Xmas goody rewards of her uber mixer.

Don't want to ruin your sale thread, but I don't see the point in spending $270 on what seems to be an expensive spoon.

Yes I am not married. Too young.

Oh, I definitely understand....I had a vague understanding that some mixing was required to make the goodies....I had no idea that there were kitchen tools that would actually make a woman, ahem, love you if you bought the right one.

These are chicks we are talking about....

To bring it into a males perspective, why would you buy a drill press when all it is a more expensive version of this...
