I just finished reading that story. It's remarkable that his lie could go as far as it did.

The day he goes back to school will be kinda awkward.

it's nice to hype yourself up from time to time, but jeez, he couldn't have honestly thought he was going to be able to lie his way out of it. wow.

Apparently the father of former Auburn RB Kenny Irons feels bad for the kid and offered to train him, free of charge, to help him get a Div. I scholarship.

Dont know if he's got the skill set (2 star prospect according to Rivals.com) or if he'd be considered damaged goods after this.

Crazy.

I feel bad for the guy. He obviously has some self confidence issues to want to be seen as the BMOC. Fact of the matter is that the guy didn't harm anyone but himself and he will learn a life lesson about where deceit gets you. I would be surprised if this publicity didn't get him a shot at a Div.1 school, he's a big boy who obviously has a bit of skill if he's a 2 star prospect. I'm sure some program in need of a little media attention will give him a shot. It could be a good story in the end.

Good to hear that he is making something of himself. He certainly has a chance to play D-I ball if he excels at this junior college.

Even if he doesn't make it at a 4 year school, hopefully he'll be able to repair his character and become a good human being.
