Warped tour a few years ago. It was early July and a typical Calgary hailstorm, with hurricane force winds blew in and the temp dropped from about 26C to about 10C. Of course we were all wearing shorts and tshirts and had no shelter or coats or anything. Man that was horrible. To get pelted with giant hail made it all the more special.

I spent last winter (Jan-Apr.) in Vancouver. I have never been that cold and miserable for such a long stretch. The humid cold cut right through my jackets, sweatshirts, etc...
*Shudder* I'll never go back unless it's summertime.

My friends thought it would be cool to drive from the East NW to COP with the windows down, at -15. Wind chill has to be higher due to the speed of the car.
Otherwise, I'd have to say in Jr. High, I was voulentold to be in a dunk tank, which we was filled with a garden hose, the day before, so it would be ready at night, close to the begining of Fall... When I got dunked, I couldn't breath, I was gasping, sounding like a damn seal, cause the water was so cold. I made sure I had my legs down so that I wouldn't get dunked all the way.

-40-ish in Edmonton for a Flames/Oilers game back in the early 90's was the coldest I was in. Left Calgary it was -10 or something...
Had to stand outside for over an hour trying to boost the car after it sat for 3 hours.

.... when I got really drunk with some friends at a bar. A (sober) friend drove me home, but I left my purse in his car and so I couldn't get into my apartment. I was stranded outside in the freezing rain without any money or anything. It was awful.

Two times stand out for me.
The time I froze my hands solid. It wasn't the freezing that hurt though. Thawing them out was the most physically painful experience of my life.
The other time was as a kid my friend and I were fooling around in some huge iced over puddles. At one point I helped my friend lose balance and he fell into the puddle that was over two feet deep. He then returned the favour. So I had to walk home soaking wet neck down from ice water.

New Yrs day in 1993 when I did my one and only Polar bear dip in the Atlantic Ocean. We parked our cars a couple hundred feet from the ocean with the heaters on full blast. After diving in I ran right past my boots, towel, and clothes through the snow to the warm car. Feet were tingling for a few hours. It was COLD.

Its freezing in So Cal today. I don't have the proper clothing to stay warm in weather this cold. All day has been a mix of rain and snow in areas we rarely see such a sight. Holy heck! McCarran Airport in Vegas just closed due to snow. This storm is crazy.

Sounds like a real gentleman, driving away before seeing his drunk friend get inside her apartment building.

That's what the TV told me. The thermometer at a store I was at in town said -49.
Either way, the furnace in my motel cut out sometime in the night. It was not warm when I woke up.

Actually funny I saw this thread because the weirdest craziest thing happened the other night. So I was out at a friends place down off 17th on Sunday just playing some Gears of War and hanging out. So just before i was about to leave I started to fel kinda weird, I cannot explain it, just not right. So I hurried out, bundled up of course due to the weather, and as soon as I left his apartment, though still in the heated building, I started to get a chill. As I walked down the 4 flights of stairs to the exit I got colder and colder, of course stepping into the -30 night made it 100X worse. So I started shaking...I got to my truck, got the thing started but it was cold as hell as the truck sat for same time...and the shaking got worse. I was so cold I cannot describe it, I was shaking so hard I was vibrating the truck, and I couldn't control it. My legs were going up and down, my head bobbing around, my back seizing up something fierce. At one point I was worried as hell something was really wrong with me..but it subsided finally after like 15 minutes. The next day, my back and shoulders were so sore I cannot even describe....no in fact not sore, spasms, thats what I had and my back is still screwed today....it is crazy! So yeah....THAT is the coldest I have ever been.
