Default Any places to volunteer at on Christmas day? Someone please tell me there is

Im looking to spend my Christmas differently this year and want to volunteer where help is needed - preferably during the night dinner time. I know there are a couple places that would host a turkey dinner to the public every year on christmas , anyone know the names of these places?

thx

Does Calgary have something like Operation Red Nose, where you drive drunk people home in their own car, with a buddy in a other vehicle to pick you up when you arrive at the destination?

Sh-Yah! We most certainly do. And it rules. Every time I've used it it's some nice old man and his wife that drives the other car. I love love love giving money to people like this. Tip and tip well. Great service.

Yup it is a great service. Whatever keeps drunks off the roads is a good and worthwhile thing.

Most definitely. Calgary does not want me driving on NYE.
Operation Red Nose is great. The dude that I always seem to get is awesome. He's down with cranking the stereo and by golly, he knows the lyrics to almost every song. Or maybe I was drunk. Whatever. Operation Red Nose is my hero. If I ever decide to not drink or party on NYE, I'll volunteer for them that night.
