Default Elimination Hockey Pool that I'm in

guys, i'm in an elimination pool, every sat. night you pick one team and they have to win. If they win you move on but you can't pick that team again.
Well, the pool i'm in started out with 201 guys, there are only 13 guys left and i am one of them. The winner gets over 3 grand. This is week 9 so my teams to pick from are limited.
Teams i can't pick, nashville, pittsburgh, montreal, san jose, detroit, boston, minnesota, and philly.
You guys know about hockey, so thought i'd seek some advice. As of right now I am taking NJ at home over Buffalo. NJ is on fire right now and buffalo is skidding a bit, they both play friday night but Buff has to travel after their game to NJ.
I could also take Ottawa over Tampa, but the sens scare me, they are all over the map, plus ottawa plays friday night but tampa doesn't so they'll be a bit more rested.
Any suggestions from you guys would be appreciated. Or if you see another game i should pick then please let me know.
Believe me, i need the money.

TB is terrible right now. Ottawa has been coming on. I would say that is your safest bet. Ottawa is also at home.

The scary thing about Ottawa (and NJ atm) is erratic goaltending.

Tampa has lost 9 in a row! Coaching issues, terrible market and mood, maybe don't make payroll at some point. Why are you questioning this? Ottawa is the play...anyone vs. Tampa is the play.

NJ have won three in a row, but so have the Sabres (including one over the Pens).

A lot of Ottawa players are also sporting moustaches, so I think you're pretty much set if you pick them.

Loob Job, who did you end up taking? I hope it was Ottawa, as I suggested.

If you are still in, it looks like you have three intriguing choices: Dallas, St. Louis and Vancouver. I'd personally go with the Canucks this time because the Hawks play the night before, three games in four nights, and will be playing at what feels like 10 p.m. to them. The Canucks will be well rested.

Truth be told, there are no slam dunks this time.
