I'd recommend a Hamilton Khaki Field Chrono Auto. I've got an older model of it and it's an awesome watch.

Wow... $1000.00 for a watch? I wear a $20.00 Timex and I'm happy to have it...

Edit: Alright I don't think I expressed what I meant to say in my original post. When looking for a watch I found it hard to deal with a budget. The most important thing is too find something you really like and will wear for a long time as in my mind a watch is an investment. And that being said don't invest in something you aren't completely satisfied in just because you have the money.

What sort of watch are you looking for? Automatic movement? Battery? rubber strap? Leather? Stainless steel? 44mm face or bigger? smaller?

The year that Calgary hosted the Grey Cup between Montreal and BC, I was fortunate enough to win the exact same watch as was given to the Game MVP. I won it at the Spirit of Edmonton room.
Its a gold Wittenauer (sp) valued at about $1500.00 at the time. Funny thing is..I never wear watches..
I'll sell it to ya!
