I went to the NYE game a couple years ago (well, I went last year too, but then headed to a house party afterwards) and went to Cowboys after the game and it was awesome. Now that Cowboys is closer, it just makes the decision easier
However, for me this year, I don't have NYE tickets so I will probably just chill with the GF and newborn

I got no real advice on where to go but if you are having a few I would suggest somewhere within walking distance or get there by train because getting a cab will be crazy. Also you may want to buy a ticket for somewhere first. Its not alot of fun waiting in a line-up when the clock strikes 12. I bet Flamescentral would be a good spot but again look into getting a ticket.

I went last year against the Nucks and went to the Yardhouse after. That was fun.

Flames Central has a post-game thingy for like $20, those who don't have tickets to the game can catch the game and a buffet for about $40, they're on sale at Ticketmaster right now...

How far is Flames Central from the Saddledome? Will the LRT be running all night? Thanks for all the suggestions already!

the closest LRT stations would be Centre Street/1st St SE I believe...it's a 3-5 min train ride from the 'dome, just get off and walk along Stephen Ave and you'll see the big signs. LRT should run all night on NYE? Although I'm not quite sure...during normal days they shut down around 1am I think. Someone who takes transit can answer this more accurately.

You can get those tickets free if you watch any other game there. They're really pimping their post-game party.

While I havent actually seen anything to suggest this will happen, but if previous years are any indication...
are you saying you don't want to stay at the dome after the game and listen to the heebie jeebies?

Flames Central has a few packages, and they're running shuttle buses to and from the Saddledome.
