Now before you disclaim the fact that it came from Red Deer radio, they get their information from the wire, just like most stations across Canada.
The team has been sold to the group led by Forzani. I will hunt for a link to make it official, but the station I work at have it official.
NOTE: They had confermation on the obvious choice of Manning for MVP hours before it was on TSN.ca. Take it for what it's worth.
