Awesome thread idea. If it keeps snowing through today and overnight I think that I'll guess 183. If the snow stops this evening though I'd cut that in half.

Oh, and word to the wise: be strategic when parking your car. If you love your car, or can't afford to fix it, don't park it in stupid places. Like at a T intersection at the bottom of a hill. On the other hand, if you hate your car and are wanting a new one, park it at the bottom of a hill at a T intersection.

By a pure stroke of luck I already planned to take tomorrow off. Nothing makes me wish I had a hybrid more than driving along at 35km/hr on Deerfoot!

if the snow we are getting now had happened tomorrow morning, I would have guessed 270.
As it is, I'll go 140, because the city will be out plowing all day and all night.
I am not looking forward to the 3 hour drive to work tomorrow.

I just got back from a fun little jaunt around the hills of bankview. On the 14th street hill going north between 26th ave and 21st ave, there was an ~8 car pileup. I passed it again about 10 minutes later and it had become a 10 car pileup - the two new additions being police cruisers.
And yeah, I agree with Resolute. If this had happened tonight, tomorrow's count would be way higher. At least they'll have today to clean up alot of the streets.
