Wow.
The Colts are ripping apart the Broncos.
35-3 at the half. Broncos simply cannot stop the Colts at all.
Although it is a real pleasure to watch the Colts offense in action I hope the second game is closer.

IMO the Colts are the most classless team in the NFL, They continually rack up the score so poster boy Manning can pad his stats.

As a Broncos fan, it would be nice if Jim Nantz would stop referring to the Colts players by their first names as if they are already in the freaking hall of fame. I might as well be watching the Flames play the Leafs on HNIC.
Nice reversal by Mike Carey on the Lelie catch, fumble and recovery too. Would like to know what conclusive evidence he saw that Lelie never had posession of the ball. That wasn't a big play or anything.
We'll see what happens in the second half. Should be fun.

In the regular season I can understand that criticism but in a playoff game? You never know what can happen. You keep your foot on the gas until at least mid-way through the 4th.
If a team can't stop the Colts is that the Colts problems - its the other teams.

You can't be serious.
There is still 2 quarters of football left to play. Are they supposed to keep it close so that the Bronco's can have a chance at coming back in the 2nd half? If the score remains the same in the 2nd half and the Colts continue to run up the score in the 4th, then I'd agree. But at this point in the game, you're out to lunch.

I wasn't talking directly about todays game, I was saying all season and for the most part all last season, 1 more touchdown for the Colts and its time to sit back as that lead would be to to large for the Broncos to catch up, But I know the Colts will keep going as its what Manning wants for his stats.

This is the playoffs you DO NOT sit back, would you expect the flames to sit back if they had a 5 goal lead in the playoffs? What if the broncos had a lead like this would Plummer sit? The Colts are playing exactly like ANY other team would, the Colts are just way too good and don't even have to be on the field. It's not their fault they can score at will on the Broncos who can't do anything on either side of the ball. Seriously, jealously and bitterness are 2 very stinky cheeses.

Lol, talking about class when you root for a team with TO on it? Padding stats eh? Its like saying, the steelers are so classless they held them to 0 points and they're trying to maintain the shutout for stats! You play to win, if you can keep scoring, why would you stop? Was Dan Marino classless for getting those touchdowns? How about Brett Favre? Why would you ever stop scoring in any sport unless the final buzzer sounds?

Right like how Houston sat back against Buffalo when they had 32 point lead a few years ago?

I'm not saying sit back I'm saying don't go gung ho all the time. Like with under 1 min left in the 2nd quarter an your on your own 40 just run the clock out the respectable thing to do and what most other teams would do but not the great Peyton Manning they throw the ball every play until they're 7 seconds left when guess who sneaks in for the TD. I know that in the end the Colts will either lose or end up winning like 48-17 because they just throw the ball until the clock hits 0:00.

Well your an Eagles fan...that explains everything.
At least Broncos have 17 now, if their defense can make one more stop they have a chance to make it a REAL game...shocking.

Getting points to help your team is classless? Ok......
I'm not even a Colts fan and I'll argue that comment. Sitting back is for losers, unless, of course, the game is meaningless, which this one is definitely not.

We'll see if Mike Carey can screw the Broncos on the replay again. Droughns clearly:
1. Down by contact before the ball came out.
2. Ground caused the fumble if he wasn't.

Hey DFF, I missed that first challenge. Heard it on the radio, the guys on the radio said shoulda been a catch then fumble. Did Bronco's lose out on that call as well?

Yep. Carey overturned the completion on the field saying that Lelie never had possession. He should be fired for that. One of the worst replay reversals I have ever seen.
It's one thing to uphold the call on the field because the evidence isn't quite conclusive enough. It's another to overturn the correct call based on nothing.

Interesting second half. The Colts defense was as bad as the Broncos defense in the 1st half.
I was afraid this would happen though. Football season is over for me and now is the time of the year when I turn my full attention to the Flames.
Now what?

I thought Carey made the right call on the first overturn, but could see how a Broncos fan would be p*ssed.
Colts not clssless at all. Lead by one of the classiest coaches and QBs in all of the league.
