So, the holidays are upon us. I thought it might be fun to see what everyone is asking for this year. So, to the point, what's the one gift you'd really like to see under the tree this Christmas, the one gift that if you don't see it under the tree, your whole Christmas and everyone elses will be ruined when you throw a giant tantrum, throw the turkey through the window and storm out in a huff?
( ....hookers and/or blow is a given on CP, so something else... )
I really don't want anything either, anything I need I buy for myself. I moved recently though, so if someone is so inclined (I'm looking square at you CP), I could use a few things for my kitchen.
I want peace on earth and good will to all. I ask for that every year and nobody ever gives it to me. I have actually asked my family and friends that instead of gifts to me, I'd rather that they give money to the food bank... I am not in want nor need of anything while others are.
However, I'm quite pleased with what I got for my niece and nephew. They are both under 5. I got them both Devils jerseys customized with their first name and age on the back. Plus the niece is getting "Dora Saves the Princess" and the nephew is getting "Diego's Dinosaur Adventure" (both for the Wii).
^^Yeah, I braved the malls today. I went bright and early and managed to hunt down a bunch of plush Shrek dolls and a couple Shrek talking dolls for my nephew. He LOVES Shrek. He's gonna freak out. It's harder to find Shrek stuff now that it's a bit old.
Well, I guess I am the only person that looks forward to seeing what they get on Christmas. I suddenly feel quite shallow and materialistic. I know the gifts aren't what it's about, but I do enjoy them.
New skis...but I'm not going to get them so I'm just going to buy them as a self Christmas present and use all the money I get/have got from my birthday.

I look forward to Christmas presents. We are doing the dreaded "gifts only for the small children" this year. I'm banking on someone else cheating and buying me something.
Some people might feel bad if they receive a gift and don't have one to give in return, but apparently I'm past that.
