Gomez to Philly

The Flyers acquired Gomez from the ducks for Frolov and a 3rd rounder.

Pretty simple deal, I think it took a total of 10 seconds to get done. I told him I was having troubles finding a link for Gomez to move to RW. He said Frolov for Gomez, I asked for a pick, insert the 3rd, done deal!

Gomez is a top end C, Frolov has a 78SC which should fit well beside Joe Thornton. He is an RFA who is also a few years younger then Gomez.

I like this deal a bit more for the Ducks; younger guy on a cheaper contract with a higher upside. Albeit not a ton higher but a bit more.
