Our high powered offense failed to do much of anything at all unfortunately. I'm not surprised by the 6 goals we let in, but come on, we're supposed to score at least 9!

Paced by 3 points from both Tkachunky and Kubina the Capitals outscored the Bruins 7-5 to extend their unbeaten streak to 4 games. The Caps are now one point out of 8th in the Conference and continue their strong play.
Of concern is the 5 goals allowed by Nabby, however a win is a win and the team will gladly take it.
A good result in a close game, the shots were even but Sabres come through 3-1. Playing starring roles for the SAbres were JS Giguere and Nick Schultz. Joffrey Lupul was the victim of a brutal (4 game suspension worthy) hook and is gone for a week. As a result the Sabres will tinker the lines and a new look 3rd line of Lucic-Stajan-Wolksi will go tomorrow as the SAbres play their 2nd game of a 4 game in 4 night stretch. An interesting roster decision tonight as Toni Lydman was a healthy scratch in favour of Nolan Pratt. Looooob would not comment further on that decision
