Default Bad TV Shows......

I saw and add last night for "17 & Counting"....the premise appears to be that this fella will keep knocking up his wife till her uterus falls out and then make a show about it.

17 kids...it is perverse....no one need 17 kids and it is, in my opinion, cruel to the kids......

someone will really have to explain why watching a rich bitch be a complete biatch who gets everything handed to her (sweet 16?) has such a following... and don't even get me started on those crappy Hills, OC, and what ever other garbage is passed off as entertainment.

It's all extremely depressing. Why would some guy who could probably get any woman he wanted marry someone like these women. I'm doing it wrong I guess.

Agreed. What's sad is that like it or not we know who these people are. Yuck. it's like an inescapable part of the culture.

This really is the first generation that is famous for their name only:

Paris Hilton
Nicole Ritchie
Brooke Hogan

These are off the top of my head. They have done nothing other than being born into money. I hate the way these entertainmnet "news" shows treat these people like they are important or matter.

I blame the idiot masses for continuing to pay any attention to these losers.

When Montador was here he did an interesting little rant about that on local radio. Although I often suspect the's hanging out with them now

Yeah but it's the chicken and the egg argument (and no i don't want a link to dinosuars and scientists). If these shows did not push these people do you think people would care.

It is a self feed loop of stupidity.

Well said. lots of people feel the need to live vicariously becuase they are unwilling or unable to find something of their own, which is hard for sure. I didnt get into NHL hockey until last year and had never been a fan of any pro sport previously. I've noticed plenty of disturbing stuff in the "fan" thing...I'm not sure what to callit. But I also noticed it in myself! I keep saying at least I'm not like the girls at work, looking at who or who doesnt have cellulite in People magazine.

Pretty much anything on MTV. They've got a pretty extensive lineup of pure garbage.
