Wildcard weekend is 1 day away. Who do you think is going to win... Who do you want to win these games and why?
St. Louis at Seattle
Seahawks 24 Rams 21. Seattle is also the team I would like to see win because I've never liked that Rams after Warner's (even though he's no longer there) wife's mug was on every TV screen a few years back...
NY Jets at San Diego
Chargers 34 Jets 21. I will be cheering for the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets. I just can't cheer for any AFC West teams except....
Denver at Indianapolis
Broncos 31 Colts 30. Color me ######ed. Being the largest Bronco fan I know, I can't lose faith now. The buildup to this game reminds me of SB XXXII "MVp quarterback, superior offense etc etc etc.. Broncos have no chance.." Or, maybe I should stop drinking at work..
Minnesota at Green Bay
Packers 28 Vikings 17. Vikes just can't win in the clutch, never mind the cold at Lambeau field. I really couldn't care less about this one.

My picks.
Seahawks (Rams just aren't what they used to be, Sehawks are a team on the way up)
Jets (It's freakin San Diego)
Colts (Peyton is gonna play like a man posessed for the whole post season, let's hope their D can stop 1 drive a game)
Green Bay (man this is a great rivalry, and Culpepper has been awesome for the most part this year but I think Favre is gonna do what he does best, win)

Rams win because Seahawks just can't finish out games. I'd have to go with 34-31.
Chargers show they are made of something shutting all the doubters. I'd go with 35-24.
Colts should win because of Plummer really......I don't know if he can play when it counts...45-30
Well this just isn't fair, I'm a Viking fan so I'm wearing my purple glasses and will say that maybe Tice the dumbass can coach in the playoffs. 34-31 Vikes.

Rams- Both teams suck for play-off teams, Rams have enough talent on O to win
Indy- should win easy, too good at home, next week will be interesting
Chargers- This team is good and should beat a floundering Jets team
Green Bay- Minnesota is so inconsistent that GB and Favre shoudl be ablet o tbeat them at home

Troy Brown will work great when lined up against Stokley.
Seattle The Rams....I like the Hawks, Alexander is a moron but to me this team can really put it together. The rams defense is just a little worse then the Seahawks and I'd much rather have Alexander then Jackson in my backfield.
Jets Chargers- This game is gonna be a real close one I think. With how good Curtis Martin is and the jets offensive strategy, I think the Jets can really pound it out and use the clock to there advantage. The jets have been here before the Chargers are rookies to this all. I like the jets
Colts Broncos- The Colts are at home, The Colts have manning. The Broncos have Plummer. Case Closed. Colts win a laugher and its deja vu all over again
Vikings Packers- Too hard to beat a team 3 times in a year. This should be a shootout almost to close to call, but I think Tice will find a way

First game done - St. Louis beats the Seahawks,
Seahawks receivers dropped balls ALL GAME LONG. So I wasn't surprised to see the game decided on yet another dropped ball. This time it was Bobby Ingram in the endzone dropping a tough but catcheable ball. Felt bad for Hasselback....his receivers really let him down today.

poor Seattle, they just can't buy a break. This must've been such a hard season to swallow. 3-0 everythings awsome, then lose one of the most heartbreaking games to the Rams, then to Dallas again on Monday Night. Then for this to happen, wow.
What a hell of a game though, lets hope the nightcaps just as good!

You think it came down to breaks?
I saw a multitude of makeable plays that Seattle simply did not make, not the least of which was the final one. Guys like Jackson make way too many errors out there and when a guy like him is your #1 receiver you have problems.
If anything they did get some breaks today - two fumbles by Jackson (IIRC) that they managed to still keep posession of.
But perhaps you are just commenting on the franchise overall. Not home playoff win since 1984. Feel bad for Seattle. We know what its like to go through some dark times.
