Mmmmmm, honey.

That a crazy looking hive.

I'm thinking they should be putting bees on an protected/endangered species list. Make it illegal to kill them. Have them get professionally removed or something. Especially since unlike wasps they are far more docile and provide such a great service to the ecosystem.

Probably be pretty hard to enforce, but from what I have read we're running low on the little guys.

Actually pretty sad that many bees died... we need those little buggers. Super cool to see the honeycomb though!

If they would have been wasps that would have been awesome.

Yeah, killing the bees wasn't a good idea. Still it makes one wonder just how long the bees had been using that BBQ.

Clearly this guy doesn't BBQ enough... or even go outside into his backyard.

I wonder if faced with that problem how I'd deal with it? Realistically I wouldn't want to kill the bees, but who do you call to deal with that?

I'd probably call someone that knows how to handle bees in a safe manner without killing them. I have a fear of stinging insects and me killing them would be out of the question.

My mother in law had a huge bees nest in her yard. She called a beekeeper who was *very* happy to drive out and take the bees out of her yard.
