--The Calgary Police Service would like to return a largequantity of collectable sports trading cards, that wereallegedly stolen, to their rightful owner.
A collection of over 3,000 cards, worth thousands of dollars,was recovered near the Elbow River by a City of Calgaryemployee and turned in to police.
Calgary Police ask that anyone who may have information aboutthis incident, or the owner of these cards, to contact Cst.Stu Simpson at 403-567-6200.
Cst. Simpson will be available for media inquiries at 1 p.m.today, Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at the District 2 office, 450617 Ave. S.W.
The cards will be available for media to view during thattime.
