I've seen Metro but never read it. What kinds of stuff do you guys usually write about? What kind of articles are you looking for?

Well, the biggest topic here lately is about the rumours that staffers at Calgary Metro like to hire male prostitutes right off the street to work as reporters. Apparently the reporters are getting paid under the table if you know what I mean. How could you have missed all those threads?

You could find out the REAL story about why the deli 2 doors down from your office closed up. Is there any correlation with the marked increase in prairie dogs on the hill beside the building?

I am assuming the OP was looking for story ideas for an article in Metro?

How about the a photo essay on all the places the dumb free dailies end up. Stuck in fences along roads, in ditches, jammed between the window and seat of the c-train, in garbage cans, blowing out of garbage cans and all over the street, general blowing all over the street, the river, under a homeless guy, up in a tree, along the railway right-of-ways, parking lots, etc....

I think you're wrong. Perhaps an objective journalist could resolve this....
