I personally knew him, and it is a very sad day.

I remember having to go to megatunes to get my aeroplane flies high box set because none of the mainstream stores were going to carry it. It turned out to be one of the most expensive, and most interesting pieces of music I've ever purchased.

Hopefully megatunes can stay afloat!

I make it in there at least once a month, didn't know the man but I remember him behind the counter. It is pretty crazy that an indie music store can survive these days with the Best Buys and Future Shops, I'd prefer to buy at Megatunes sometimes and drop an extra $4 to support the small guy.

Didn't know the guy, but was an occassional megatunes shopper when I lived in Calgary. Sorry to hear such a passionate music fan go. Obviously he will be missed, hopefully his legacy lives on and the store does well into the future.

Spent half of my high school earnings there.

Didn't know the man but he ran a great shop. Just lacking in Hip Hop. Vinyl would also sell great for them. RIP.
