Need Help: Wierd TV issue

So I just bought a 40'' Samsung LCD a few days ago at Future Shop.
When I got it home I and plugged it in I was getting some faint diagonal lines running across the screens on channels 26 to 34 on shaw. I figured it must be just my cable feed as it was only those channels.
But I brought it from Calgary down to my house in Lethbridge and I am getting the same problem on the same channels. All others are very clear, and gaming is perfect.
Anyone know what the problem is, do I have to return it?

No directly into the TV. I'll try the box tomorrow though.

That is weird indeed.

Could be that the TV's tuner is wonky ... try the cable box idea first.
