Sabres looking for a young Centre(who isnt?)

Happy New Year's eve everyone

Sabres are looking for a competent centre in the age 23-27 demographic. Not necessarily an allstar, but not a guy who is a 67 at age 26 either

trade chips could include
RW Scott Mellanby
C Robert Nilsson
D Jay McKee
D Cory Sarich
D L Visnosky
D K Johnsson or D Scott Niedermayer (* as part of a package deal with a D coming back to Buffalo)

plus a few other guys I"m sure. Rumor also has it that a major deal may go down between Buffalo and a Western Canadian based team. This deal could end up decimating the current Sabres roster(which shouldn't be hard), and make the other team a prohibitive cup favorite
