CP Rock Musicians Unite
So I've been doing some thinking, scary I know, but I think its time some of us musicians on here collaborate.
Couple ideas/pipe dreams:
1. We keep talking about the Flames needing better songs to start the game or post goals. Lets do something about it.
2. As much as I enjoy "In Da Dome" I think its time the rock genre responds with something....better.
3. A song about CalgaryPuck Nation and how we are better then whatever our competition is.
Anyway, anyone think this sounds like fun respond in here with what instrument(s) you play and if you would like to contribute and we can take it from there.

I don't live in Calgary either. I figure anyone who wants to contribute can at the very least toss in some lyric ideas. Or if they have the means record themselves (like me!)

I play bass, though I live in Winnipeg. I do also have the means to record myself. Down for some collaborating for sure! Going to school in the spring for audio engineering, maybe I could turn this into a project...

Okay. I like to write and sing..I've never failed a audition that asked for a male singer in the style of Dio even though I'm female. My guitar playing is awful unless you'rew looking for a cheap imitation of Omar Rodriguez Lopez (Ithink that's his name...Mars Volta?)

I have 2 cowbells sitting in my car waiting for the start of the season!!
though one of them is severely cracked from 03-04
at home I have a drum kit that I cant play anymore as I live in a condo, and a bass which I admittedly am not that good at...
if I was to volunteer for something like this I would want to play the egg!, dont want to be stealing the cowbell glory from flameswin

well obviously people can still join in, but it looks like we have some interest. So lets talk about ways of actually doing this. One idea I had was we could begin presenting ideas for riffs, and lyrics.
So if anyone has a lyric they think needs to be in this, come forward.
If anyone has any killer riffs they want to donate to this cause, come forward.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions at all, speak.
