Steve Simmons, Sun Media: My thumb is way down to Darryl Sutter, the GM of the Calgary Flames. Not just for the signing of Todd Bertuzzi but for his explanations of the mindless move, never mind that Bertuzzi failed on Team Canada, failed in Anaheim, failed in Detroit, failed in Florida, and failed in just about everywhere else he's been in the post- Steve Moore assault. But it was Sutter's inane explanation, comparing fans' disgust with Bertuzzi's signing to a three-year-old traffic violation. Something easily dismissed is that, not only is it an insult to the too-easily forgotten Moore, but an insult to any hockey fan with a memory and half a brain.
