I see what you are saying with Ken King as he is a former Flame. I think an email directly to him is a good idea though as that way we know he is getting it for sure as who knows maybe he is out of the country and not checking his phone messages....It has been an on-going thing though as the camp was supposed to be back in June...I have no experience with going to bbb or similar organizations but my perception is that it would cost you more in chasing costs than you are likely to see back but I could be wrong....

The BBB has no power to make a company do anything, send him a registered letter asking for the refund with amount or you will take him to small claims court, than if you don't get the money file in small claims court.

^i recently used the BBB for a consumer complaint and it cost me nothing; it was satisfactorily resolved in my favour within a week
Again, i dont see the relavance of contacting Ken King. It would be like you have a complaint against me, so you call my former employer from 8 years ago. Weird!

How can you not see the relevance? It seems pretty clear. His website has a lot of Calgary Flames logos and photos on it. Ken King is the president of the Calgary Flames. Perhaps threatening to have any Flames related stuff pulled from his website would hurry this process along. Really? You don't see that?

While I am no lawyer. They are just photos of him. Yes, as a flame. But him.
You don't think he can put pictures of himself up? Heck, he has to prove to all the post-03 fans that he ACTUALLY did play for the flames!

He is using the team to promote his business. The organisation would probably frown upon shady businesses using their name and logo to promote themselves. They would be within their rights to have their stuff removed or to have the site shut down.
Still no? No sense at all?
edit - I'm not saying do it I'm saying threaten to do it.

For some reason I doubt the suits at the Saddledome want to get in the middle of this. It doesn't have anything to do with them. Hay isn't breaking any rules by having pictures of himself on his website, even if he is wearing a Flames jersey.
How much does he owe you? Pester the hell out of the guy. What's he going to do? Even if he is dodging you, constant phone calls and messages would probably drive him crazy enough to just get it over with.
Did you know anyone else there?

$120.
As far as I know my sister and my wife are out $120 each. As for the rest of the group I can't really speak to that?

Well then, including you that's 3 people who can phone him every day, twice on Sundays. Might as well send him some e-mails while you are at it.
$120 just can't be a ripoff job. It ain't worth it. It must be just disorganization or plain old laziness. I know that's why my bills never get paid.

Sorry to bump this.
Money was refunded and likely it was just a mix up with communications.
