Shooting in Connaught - Man dead

Shooting this morning 11:30am in a back alley between 12 Ave and 13 Ave SW near 11 St. The guy the cops were chasing dead at the scene

Is that the alley behind Tim Hortons? I used to live in that building right there (Edinborough House). I'd have had a birds eye view from my 8th floor balcony.

I live about a block away from the scene (corner of 11th St and 14th Ave SW) and thought I heard a gunshot last night. I wonder if this is related?

Hope the victim was a lowlife gang scum who got what was coming to him and not an innocent bystander.

I heard the same one. About 8 oclock or so? I'm just up the hill at 14th and 25th. It sounded like it came from around Mount Royal school on 14th.
