Sunday Ticket best thing to come to cable ever.
The promo is on till August 31st, so there is no panic.
Also it has been mentioned that some of the Sunday Ticket games will be shown in HD this year. This is another step in the right direction. All games in the states on Direct TV are available in high definition.

It would be nice to have all the games in HD up here. The first four weeks last year had the Chiefs in HD. Then I had to suffer through the rest of the season in SD. Kind of sucked, not to mention that the Chiefs sucked as well.

Question what feed do they take for the games.
Is it the normal FOX, CBS, etc who runs the games or is it NFL Network commentated on? Just wondering cause I cant stand NFL network commentary.
Thanks,

There's only one feed for all games. Whatever network is broadcasting that game is the feed you get. So if the NFL Network is the broadcaster, that's what you'll see. Sunday Ticket doesn't actually show those Thursday, Sunday, or Monday night games though. You're expected to find it yourself on the original station.

I'm guessing Americans don't get these kind of specials. I probably won't even look into it for fear of disappointment. In my house, I get one sports package and that will always be Center Ice.
Besides, as a Broncos fan living in Wichita I get most of their games anyway.

How? I just called to cancel it this year hoping they would offer me a better price. Over $200 for it is ridiculous.

I asked them if they would like to keep my business for another year because I would be happy to go somewhere else. Which I would never do but they don't need to know that.
I told them if could either cost them $100 to give me the credit for half price or $100 every month after I leave. The guy said that sounds fair. He could not give me the 50% off like the new clients but he gave me a month free and some other PPV credits so it worked out the same for me.
So in the last week they have given me over $700 in credits for just a bit of complaining
