Ok, so if you could see one band, either that's still together or has broken up for one reason or another, who would they be?
My choices would be Queen, KISS, Tool and of course, Metallica.

I've seen most of the current bands I'd like to see...so I will say...Alice in Chains circa 1998.

Queen is a good pick I think but I would have to go with Dire Straits.

I've pretty much knocked off every active band on my list...I'm still waiting for the Zeppelin reunion with Dave Grohl on drums though.

I agree with Queen. But my brother saw Dire Straits and said it was the best concert he had ever seen. I would have liked to have seen Led Zep in 1972, or the Beatles in 1963 too.

Rob Zombie since him and Metallica are the only two bands I really care to see live and since I've already seen Metallica in May.

I'd have to say The Who with Keith Moon on drums. I've seen the Who in concert but obviously not with Moondog on drums....also, I'd love to see Peter Gabriel again just for the sheer spectacle of his shows.

Michael Jackson circa 88 woulda been fun. Or Elton John, anytime.
Not much of a rock and roll fan, and most hip hop concerts/shows are pretty lousy. Two MCs I do want to see live are Brother Ali and J-Live.
Brother Ali is an overweight, bald, lazy-eyed albino rapper, who apparently wins over every crowd he performs in front of. His stage presence and charisma might only be rivalled by KRS-One or The Roots (add them to the list also!), and I guess he steals every show he opens. His LPs are good if anybody wants some good indy hip hop to check out.
And I'm a big J-Live fan- I wanna see him perform "Braggin' Writes," where he rocks the mic and the turntables at the same time.

I saw them in 1992 and they were great then.

Saw Alice in Chains in 1990 opening for Van Halen, great show!
hmmm, if I could see anyone, it'd probably be Led Zeppelin with their original lineup. AC/DC with Bon Scott would be great as well (although their current lineup does a great live show, too)

Big U2 fan! I saw the Pop Mart Tour in both Edmonton & Vancouver, and went to Elevation here in Calgary, but....
I wish I'd seen ZooTV back in the day. B)
P.S. Rumour has it they may be back to Calgary in 2005...

AC/DC is one of the best shows I've ever seen and G 'n' R is quite possibly the worst. Had front row centre seats at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto at the height of GNR hype, and they proceeded to put out one of the worst shows I have ever seen.
