as far as decent, cheap beer goes...it kills anything else. Budweiser, Coors Light, Canadian, MGD, Pillsner all taste like crap to me.

Celebrated Square Root Day
|
Stupidest marketing campaign ever. About 3 weeks ago, I went into a liquor store, and they had a chick behind a booth near the front. After I paid for my beer, she asked if I wanted a sample of Kokanee. So I downed the glass of Kokanee, and then she made a big deal about how the whole reason she was there was to get everyone to tell her whether the Ranger should live or die. I just looked at her and said "seriously?". She just kind of laughed and said, 'yeah I know it's pretty lame, I'll just put you down for 'live'.

x2. Among the dumbest marketing campaigns I've ever seen. Sad what's happened to this brand since it was taken national by Labatt.

I think Kokanee's marketing ad is working great.
Check it out, a thread on CP about a beer marketing campaign....find me the last time a thread was made up since "I Am Canadian" first came out.
I'm surprised so many people get so worked up over simple beer commercials.
Oh, by the way, he should live a long life!!
