Maddenoliday?

Anyone taking the day off tomorrow? I know Madden has sucked ass the last few years, but I am actually excited....about NFL Head Coach 09 which comes out with Madden if you get the anniversary special. From what I've read, madden is improved but still has some maddening (pun sadly intentional) bugs. Head Coach has very few bugs and apparanetly many to all will be squashed eith a patch, while Madden devs can't promise anything.

I have the day off, but I only took it as I will be headed to Cincy on Wednesday to watch the Griffey-less, Dunn-less, damn well better not be Votto-less nobody Reds, take on the Cards and won't be playing Madden or Head Coach again until Sunday. Also lotsa drinking with a good buddy.

lol, my former roomate stopped by to pick up the router he left when he moved out. He was concerned about hogging the internet connection while playing what he describes as "an ass load of madden this week". He had just come from work where he found somebody to take his shift. You certainly aren't the only one.

I'll probably be taking an NHLiday when it comes out next month. Well actually, I probably won't...but the first weekend with the game will be spent playing it.

...I haven't been a fan of the next-gen madden at all, but I picked up the 09 college game last month and it's restored my faith in the EA football enough to pick up the anniversary package tomorrow. The chance to get Head Coach early also influenced my decision...even though the last Head Coach sucked, I've got some hopes for this one.

Not taking the day off though...I'll pick it up at lunch and pop it in in the evening.
