Wow! Another one of those things you think will never happen. My thoughts go out to the injured, the people who will be homeless from this, and of course there must be some fatalities. Geez.

Yeah, I woke up this morning to a couple text messages from different people talking about the explosion. Both people were driving near the area right when it happened. Unreal.

Yeesh, that's a nice morning wake up. If no one was killed that's incredible.

Wow that makes the explosion in Dallas last year look small.

A closer view. You can actually see the explosion from a few KM's away. Crazy. Cool, but sad considering there must be casualties. I'm about 50KM's away but never heard anything last night. Beer is a powerful sedative.

^^^^ WOW!!!

Not the best camera work, but you can actually see the shockwave preceding the explosion. That is intense.

Why do people never invest in tripods?

Who brought the steaks? Damn that was a blast.

How many people do you think assumed it was a terrorist attack?

I would imagine a lot. You wake up to the windows and doors of your house blowing in and the ceiling collapsing and there is fire and debris everywhere... you gotta be thinking that someone is bombing your neighborhood.

Exactly. You listen to the screams in the video from the first post and you can tell they do.
My only reason for wondering this is centred around how many people could put two and two together of there being a propane factory (or at least some sort of factory) just over that hill.

Could just as easily have figured that the propane factory was the target of a terrorist attack. Quite plausible, all things considered.
