Stayin' home. I'll get my deals later in the week....no need to get anything right early tomorrow. Although our DVD player did crap out on us this evening  ...there'll still be half decent deals this week

Thank god for a wife and a mother. They love shopping and seem to be willing to look for and buy anything I want on Boxing and often come home with good stuff I never even asked for.

Are you sure about the 7am start for Walmart? Their voice greeting thing says regular hours, which for a Sunday start at 9am... ??

Also, as an FYI, the entire boxing week flyer is available in full on their website, www.walmart.ca

I'll be hitting Chinook in the morning, 17th Ave around lunch, and Future Shop/ Best Buy near closing.

This should be good. Take freezing cold weather so people want to park close, add lots of snow so no one can see where the lines are in the lot, and a healthy dash of rage. Forget the World Jr's - I'm going to watch shoppers beat on each other at Chinook tomorrow....

Lol, went to FutureShop at 6:00am this morning! Never done this before, but they had a $279 computer that I wanted to get for my dad.

Not too bad, getting in was easy, showed up at 6:00 and got in just as the huge line was finished getting in so I didn't wait in the cold. Walked over, grabbed my computer, waited 20 minutes in line to get out, and was done. Parking was pretty crazy though, by the time I got out the entry and exit ramps into the Macleod Tr. location were blocked with parked cars. Took my wife's Outback though so curbs aren't a problem

Works well I guess if you have only one thing to get and know what it is, I heard lots of others complaining that they didn't get what they wanted.

Most of the "deals" aren't really deals anyway.

Just to think some will actually think it's a real good deal. At Visions it's .99 and let's drive across the city to save one cent.

I just got back from TD downtown and it was busy but not super crazy. Eddie Bauer has incredible deals right now. Everything that was on sale is now an additional 50% off. I got a sweater, a pair of jeans and a pair of pants for $56. And I guess my Mom got a sweater there that was normally $450 for around $60.

Just got back from Blockbuster and Future shop. I managed to get Halo 2, 2 month live subscription, an enthernet cable, a headset, and a controller for 90 bucks after a trading in a couple Gamecube games.

I went to south center around 2 in the afternoon, didn't expect to buy anything, however I just couldn't resist when walking by Jersey City and seeing a Vintage Calgary Flames jersey with the 1989 Stanley Cup patch, for $90.
