DRIPs

I was looking into starting a couple DRIPs (dividend reinvestment programs) and was wondering if anybody had any experience setting this up?

If so, what is the best way to get the share certificate to start (I'm looking for BNS and TRP)?

I haven't done the formal ones directly with the companies. I have, however, set them up with my discount brokerage. I only get whole shares (the rest comes in cash). This is good enough for me and I get to keep them in my brokerage account.
