Default Grey Kangaroo Personal Liquor Filter

What is the Gray Kangaroo?
The Gray Kangaroo Personal Liquor FIlter was invented in 2001 as a means of providing high quality cheap booze for large groups of people.

The Gray Kangaroo Personal Liquor Filter (currently in it's fourth design) uses the same technology that the liquor companies use to improve the quality of packaged liquor.
The Gray Kangaroo works with all pre-packaged hard liquors: vodka, whiskey, rum gin, tequila. Most people agree that it works best with vodka. What it does is remove particulate matter and harmful toxins while leaving delicious filtered liquor.

Filtered liquor (especially vodka) is competitive with brands that cost three times the price.

Try it: you will be amazed and never go back to high priced booze. Our customers aren't customers they're fans! Even if you believe in this product you have no idea how cool it is until you try it!
Cool! I knew I should have saved those Grey Goose bottles! One question though, would my Katadyn water purifier I take backpacking do the same thing?

Mythbusters sort of disproved this. They filtered cheap Vodka through a brita filter and did make it slightly better, but still didn't compare to the top shelf vodka's and wasn't worth the cost. The graykangaroo site says theirs is different than a brita filter, but then they say it's carbon, which is essentially what's in a brita (except the stainless steel).

Here's a "review", but seems very one sided. http://www.liquorsnob.com/archives/2..._filter_re.php

Now, I'm no expert, but isn't the whole theory here that the carbon actually removes some of the alcohol? Isn't it the same theory as getting your stomach pumped after drinking too much?

Yea I could see it removing some of the impurities in cheap alcohol.

It isn't going to improve the quality of ingredients used though.
