Default Grey Hair

Does anybody ever try coloring it? I'm getting it on the sides and while I don't care if it makes me look older, I think it just looks too spotty.

I guess I should leave the single scene and get a girlfriend so I don't have to care about it anymore

Don't worry about no play for Mr. Grey.

Just go silver fox style: grey the whole shebang, buy yourself a new Miata, get your teeth whitened, use a tanning salon, and go out and hit on divorcees at your local country club. Worked for me, and I'm only 28.

Generally, grey hair on men is kinda nice - makes them look mature even if they don't act like adults.

But if it really bothers you, Natural Instincts by Clairol makes a temporary hair color that would work for your situation. (There's lots of color selection in the woman's haircolor section, but they also make about 8 colors with men pictured on the box.) Anyway, the color and the developer are mixed 1:1, so if you're just going to do your temples, a box can last a while - just mix a tablespoon of each together in an old glass, or one of those tiny Glad containers. Use a coloring brush to brush it on where you need it. It'll wash out in about a month, and then you can re-evaluate how spotty you think the grey looks and either reapply or leave it alone. If you use a permanent color, that will work as well, but you'll have regrowth at the roots that can look odd until it either completely grows out or you color again. It will also be harder to tell exactly how spotty the grey is. If you're not sure about what color to choose, any good drug store will have a cosmetician on hand to help.

Loreal makes root touch up that works well. It takes about ten minutes, rinse, and no more grey. Its not permanent though, lasts about 4 weeks or so. But like pyromaniac stated, you don't have to worry about unsightly grow out with temporary color.
