Default A national 'Do not call' list

Canadians will be able to avoid unsolicited telemarketer calls by registering with the national do not call list in exactly two months, the federal telecommunications regulator confirmed Wednesday.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

I wonder if it will include telemarketers based in the States.

Wouldn't it just be easier, (and shorter), to have a "Please call me" list?

What I'd like to know is why Bell was chosen to build and maintain the list. Isn't that kind of like putting the fox in charge of the hen house?

The guy on the radio said charitable places and researchers/surveys does not include on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Those are the ones who calls the most. I'll say no exceptions. I am tired of hearing my phone rings and when i look at the Caller ID, it shows the same phone number.

Screw their list. If you have a phone line today you have the option to block numbers. Get one call from those jerks and on the list they go. I haven't gotten a call from a telemarketer in at least three months.

I find charities bug you a lot less if you never give them money.

Keep getting calls from Ramada Inn resorts out of Florida. I keep telling the stupid broad that i'm not giving her my credit card number. She then says..."You mean you want me to pass this great deal onto someone else?" My response always is..."If you think it's such a great deal YOU buy it for me with your credit card!" She stops to think for a few seconds and hangs up.
