Icon33 Need help to get to Montreal!

I don't know if this question is a fata, or if it belongs here but I need some help.

My Dad and I are trying to get tickets to the Flames vs. Montreal in Montreal (Dec. 9 game).
Does anyone know of a good site where there might be tickets available? Or when the best time to try and get tickets is? (basically when, where and how)

I realize its hard to get into Canadians games but any help is appreciated.

thanks in advance.

www.ticketmaster.ca?

Tickets aren't even on sale yet, most likely they don't even know who is retaining their season tickets. There should be some sort of mailing list or information on ticketmaster to tell you when the tickets for that date will go on sale, most likely late September early October, if not you can check stubhub or ebay at the start of the year to buy someones season tickets for the game.

I would imagine you'd be able to get them off Ticketmaster.ca, as long as you've specified that you want tickets in Montreal. Should be easy to switch.

yes ticketmaster is an option we've explored, but we don't seem to be having much luck. I was wondering if there was some sort of ebay for tickets, stubhub might be a good option!

You aren't having luck because tickets are NOT ON SALE YET.

Wow, that was a fairly aggresive response to an innocent question. Anyways, the best thing to do is phone the montreal Canadians ticket office and ask what the exact moment tickets go on sale is. If it's lke Calgary, there will be an exact time and day they go sale, then you just sit on your computer and wait for that exact moment, and while a lot of fans in montreal are fighting over the home opener, Toronto/Ottawa games etc, you can go right to the Flames/Habs game, and hopefully snipe some good tickets.

To the OP, just wait until tickets go on sale and check out Ticketmaster.ca and ebay.ca.

If you're not worried about the price, just go on down to Montreal for the game any way and get it off scalpers outside... you can bet you'll be able to buy a pair of seats.

Pardon me. It wasn't meant to be agressive, merely reiterate a response that had already been said, even though the OP then said after that he tried ticketmaster but wasn't having luck.... I figured he missed the part about them not being on sale yet. Such being the reason he's not having luck.

who are these Canadians you speak of? The baseball team left Vancouver years ago.

Expect to pay big bucks, the team has played well of late and even in the biggest rink in the NHL, it's hard to get a seat.

Actually, the Habs sell their tickets through admission.com not Ticketmaster.

Perhaps do what many out of towners do when they come here: go visit the Habs forums and ask if any season ticket holders have that game available.

I live in Montreal and have never had a problem getting tickets. Just find out the exact day/time they go on sale and buy them then.

I've used this site before for sold out games:
vipprotours.com
They have ticket and hotel deals. Everything worked very smoothly with them.

Thanks to everyone for your help, I am now the proud new owner (of the rights) to two tickets to the Flames vs. Montreal.

Have you tried http://seatquest.com/ for tickets? They have interactive seating charts and you can compare the lowest prices from places like Stubhub and Razorgator, etc. You can look for tickets for the Dec. 9th Flames vs. Montreal game here: http://seatquest.com/all/Zoomer.aspx...9&eid=559&tb=1
